Question: How do u tell whats right and wrong!?

who are we to say whats right and whats wrong!? why do we think that killing people is wrong!.!.does it make it right if u have a good reason for it!? my question is!.!.how do we judge!.!.!? what are our guidelines!.!.we shouldnt make laws if we cant determine whats rite and wrong right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

the physical plane is often morally ambiguous!. so, producing a workable and agreeable ethical system is very difficult!. one good thing to do is to obey laws!.

ideas of right and wrong actually boil down to what works best in the big picture and in the long run!. most likely the most workable and agreeable way to determine a right action is to ask "is this action one that would will for all people to do in the same circumstances as mine!." this pretty much will tell you whether an action or decision works best in the big picture and in the long run!. also, using people as a means to an end is not so workable in the big picture and in the long run!.

laws may be imperfect, too general, or what have you!. still, disobeying them usually does not end up well in the big picture and in the long run!. remember that ethics is grounded in pragmatism, or in what actually works best for you and for others in the long run!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am an Atheist!. I have my morals and I believe I know what is right and wrong!.

If you are causing harm to another human being in anyway, then it is wrong!.

Killing is wrong, some people however need to be removed from this world!. People who murder without legitimate cause!.

Religion in my mind just keeps people in line, gives people something to live for!. Without Religion, this world would be completely chaotic because a lot of people don't know how to handle themselves when there are no rules or enforcement of these rules!.

my beliefs make what I see right or wrong!. Mainly I believe that right or wrong are really words, but for a fact I have found that even without words there are actions!. Even if no word describes it if you were to run, then you would move and somewhere in the universe that action would exist and it would be different from sitting since that action would be different there must be seperation!.!.!. I don't think I descrbed it very well but my point is still there somewhere!. Basically I feel like most people don't want to be killed, so I'm not going to kill them!. Makes sense right!? But if someone wants to be killed, well I still couldn't kill them!. About humans making laws isn't it bad enough we have the power to say who lives and dies!? It's determined basically from our animal instincts which we are born with!.
If you put a mouse in the path of an elephant, the elephant tries its utmost to avoid trampling the mouse!.!.!. it knows it's wrong to kill a living creature!. (This was proved experimentally!.)
Now, we have long since lost touch with our instincts but the idea has been made into laws or moral code!.

Each situation is neutral, neither good nor bad!. Two people can look at the same exact thing and have different viewpoints!. It's bad if you think it's bad!. It's good if you think it's good!.
