Question: Quick points on Nietzsche and Plato on Authority!?

I don't think bullet points are quite the right format for this, but I can summarize briefly here!.

Nietzsche did not believe in any kind of external or universal morality!. What is right is only defined by will: your own, or what others can force you to accept!. As such, it is better to be the master than the slave; to write your own rules than to obey those of others!.

Plato not only believed in a kind of universal morality, but also that some people were simply more intelligent and suited to leadership than others!. To him, each person should focus on what he did the best and permit society to provide those aspects that might be lacking!. Those best suited to lead, in his view, were philosophers because they were not likely to be swayed by opinion and accustomed to seeing the true nature of things!. Everyone else should pretty much just do what the philosophers told them to do because it would just turn out better for them in the end!.
