If you have, do you recall what was said!? Here is something I came across and thought I would share it with you all!. If you do not have a contribution for Native American words of Wisdom, but would like to comment, please do so!.

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people!. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all!.

One is Evil!. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego!.

The other is Good!. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith!.'

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: 'Which wolf wins!?'

My great grandmother was half Cherokee, half Irish!. She used to get hard candy and lick it, then put it in a candy dish so it all stuck together!. Then she'd laugh at whomever tried to get a piece out later!. also at age 93 she was flirting with a waiter at a restaurant by stabbing him in the patooty with a fork!. She died at age 97, still coloring her hair red!.

I don't know how much "wisdom" was from the Irish, and how much from the Cherokee, but there's always stories from any culture if you look hard enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a long time ago I would have dreams talking with a Indian!.!.!.I don't know if he was Cherokee or not!.!.!.but he was a symbol I think of guidance of some kind!.!.!.

I've never heard of anything like this before!. All I've heard of is quotes; Einstein's quotes, etc!. Anyways, I find that words of Wisdom very fascinating!. Since the wolfs are the opposite, it's reflect the owner(grandson)!. The surviving wolf will represent the character of the owner!. If the good wolf survive, the owner must be a "good" person!. If the bad wolf survive, you know what it is to be said!.

That words of Wisdom does represent our everyday lives!. There are all types of people in this world!. This time, the wolf will be the child, and the owner will be the parents!. So, if the parents are good, the kids will be good; you know what will happens to the bad ones!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
