Question: Do you love Aristotle!?
While reading the quotations of Aristotle on Wiki in the Unsourced section, I felt deeply moved!. In my imagination, Aristotle appears as a very kind, warmhearted philosopher and scientist, a grandfather with great wisdom and knowledge who I only want to hug and kiss!. Although my personal views differ from his in other topics (politics, rhetoric, politics etc!.), that doesn't affect my admiration of him!. I would like to extract some lines that strike me as especially beautiful to verify what I said :Www@QuestionHome@Com

Aristotle was indisputably a great man!.

But I would recommend you read some of his stuff a bit more broadly than just a few scattered quotes here and there!.!.!. he is, after all, also a man who thought slavery was good and justified and that women were inherently inferior to men!.

In spite of whatever mistakes he may have made, I think he still has a lot to say of value, and I imagine he might have very different attitudes about some of these things if he were alive today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on your Philosophy!. As a classical philospher, Aristotle is noted for the mass, try phenomenology-man and society, representates another philosophy of thought!. Then there is existentialism which is man as an individual!. Each has their function and often not in agreement!. Admiration of thought can only personal, agreement is in the thought of the mass!. But, an existentialist keeps his/her thought and action of that personal personal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
