That theory is called "deism," and it is suprisingly accepted!. T!. Jefferson was a deist, and actually made his own Bible by cutting up other Bibles and pasting them back in the order that made sense to his deism!. At least one of those "Jefferson Bibles" still exists!.

Aristotle was a deist--of sorts--because he believed we were headed TOWARD God and not FROM God's creation!. He said God probably didn't even know we were coming!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe that God is active in our world today, in little things as well as big things!. I believe He works in our lives, but through other people!. My family is too busy to go to the grocery store to buy food, and a friend calls and tells us that they're bringing dinner over for us!.
