And so if you are constantly around people who disrespect you, you should make plans to diminish your relationships with them and to forge new relationships!. To find more rewarding relationships, try to get involved in activities that you like to do!. Audition for local plays, take an art class at a local rec center, join a bowling league, participate in partisan politics, try a different church!. Look for people with a positive attitude (but not people who are sunny and bright no matter what abominable injustices they face)!. And try to keep your attitude adjusted right, also--the bad old feelings are hard to overcome sometimes!. After you start to make new friends, you can politely distance yourself from the old ones!. If the trouble comes from family or work, same idea--you have to lay plans to get away from them effectively!.
