The feeling of happiness is almost like a "high" in a way if you think about it!. The question is, how do you achieve it!. There are many ways to achieve happiness, some people will create happiness with others such as friends, family, dating, and some people will try to earn this happiness throughout achievement!. When you when a race, or a writing contest, attending your dream college, becoming a political figure, or even just getting straight A's on a report card!. This type of happiness is the type achieved throughout hard work!. The other type of happiness as mentioned above is about people in your life!. Hanging out with your best buds, finding the perfect person for you, the night of a proposal, or coming home to a loving family!. This second type of happiness takes a different type of hard work than the first and gives you a much different sense of happiness as well!. We try throughout life to achieve this happiness, we struggle through school, we bring our A game to every day at work and almost everyone has asked themselves the question "what is this going to achieve!?" And the answer to that, is happiness!. Eventually hard work will lead to happiness, studying hard gets one into a good college, which leads to a good job, which leads to a steady future, from there it depends on whether you want to take the family or the achievement approach!. Which one of these types of happiness is more powerful!? It's all up to the individual person, what each person strives for!. Everyone presses to come out on top!. But what good is that if you have no one to share it with!? That is why I personally think that the best way to achieve happiness is still the social approach!. So, to answer your question: Total happiness can be achieved!. This happiness may be day by day, and sometimes depends on if you've had a good day or not!. But I do not think total happiness is on a daily basis, I think total happiness is the big picture, the long stretch, the meaning behind the words!. There is a very slight difference between total happiness and plain happiness, and that line is different for everyone!.
