can true believers compromise their beliefs if it means making the better choice!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Religion is negotiable isn't it!? Otherwise how does conversion take place!?
But the moment you say one is a true believer, then he has accepted that his religion is the one and only true religion !. He is convinced he has made the best choice !. No compromise !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most would say no!. Personally, I would say yes!. All the major religions like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc, are based on principles of good, which I believe overrides all other mores!. If in order to achieve the greater good one must move beyond their established beliefs, I think whatever god or deities they worship would forgive them, for by "making the better choice" as you say, and achieveing the greater good, they would be doing greater service to their god(s) than merely observing religious forms and doing nothing to improve the world around them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is negotiable and is done all the time!. That's why Christians send out missionaries all over the world -- to convert other religious believers to accept Christianity!. (Although I am not sure about it being a better choice!.)

Remember religions are man made cultural organization, in a civilized world, dispute between organizations are negotiated before we take up arms -- hopefully!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if there was a better choice than that would be in that particular religIon!. Because of our short sightedness, we try to come up with fancy ideas that looks good!. But GOD who formulated the laws in the religIon knows far more better than us and so its good for us to obey trusting in his knowledge and wisdomWww@QuestionHome@Com

its not about making a compremise, but simply making the right choices, if someone has a strict religion with no choices, that is not a true religion, its like been ordered to live a certain way, with no choices !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You beg the question by saying 'the better choice'!. Either that or you are confusing TRUTH (belief) with GOODNESS (better choice)!. But my vote is plain, simple : bad diction!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no compromise!.
if true religion then all direction comes from the bible, and that was non negotiableWww@QuestionHome@Com

No!. It's non-negotiable, and therein lies the problem!.
Evidence!? See the middle east!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

depending on your faith and the choices we make in life your religion can be negotiableWww@QuestionHome@Com
