Wasn't it Shakespeare (later cited by Ray Bradbury) who wrote: "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes!."!? So I would guess that means evil is tactile: pins and needles, prickly skin, goosebumps, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The saying indicates that your mind is closed to evil!. This is not necessarily a good thing, as it means that you don't notice it in your environment, and this could be hell for the people around you!.
Oddly, there is a tradition that evil stinks!. We say of a wicked deed, "That stinks," or "That's rotten!." It used to be believed that the bodies of holy people smelled fragrant for a long time after death, whereas the corpses of evil people began to stink and rot immediately!. It is said that cannibals develop awful body odor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
