So, philosophical materialism has it that only matter exists!. Dualism says that two things ultimately exist, perhaps matter and thought (or mind), such that thought does not necessarily depend on brain!.

But what if "dualism vs!. materialism" presents a false dilemma!? What if there exist more choices than that!? What if neither one says it all!? What, in fact, about the idea that matter and thought are two different forms that energy takes!. And what about feelings; what if they are another form!? And what about spirit!? Ghosts!? Telepathy!? Atmospheres in rooms!? Gut feelings!? Vibes!? What if they all are different forms that energy can take!? What if it all just boils down to energy taking myriad forms; that is, vibrating at a range of frequencies all the way from appearing to not move because of being so slow, to appearing to not move because of being so fast, and everything in between!?

Dualism vs!. materialism presents a mighty limited view of the choices!. Neither one has got it fully right!. In fact, dualism only makes sense if you consider it to refer to polarity!. Everything has its pair of relative opposites!. Temperature has hot and cold, for example!. That's dualism at its best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its funny man, first 15 minutes into work this mornin my buddy comes up and we start chattin, and I end up saying,
"matter doesn't matter"
We matter!.
So I'll go with dualism!.

I think the more I grow; the more I see that the world as I knew it; was a bunch of bullshit!. Most of it being manipulation put there by the masters of money!. I say throw it all away, and try and find the real truth!.
It seems real!.
It tastes and feels real!.
But I think thats because of the people that I interact with all the time!.
They are real!.
We are real!.
I am real!.
But the rest of it!.!. specifically almost everything we buy nowadays!. Its all synthetic!.!. FAKE!. The music we listen to has no soul, the tv we watch occupies and passifies us!. Its a tragedy!. The food we buy is often just processed materials!. Bah!.

So one can do only what one can, make the best of it: love, and live with integrity!. Not worrying about anything, just live, now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that were all just the playing out of sub-atomic particles, since the beginning of time (the big bang)!.
