We changed the world and the outlook of the previous generation, and the expectations of future generations -- music, conservation, political accountability, ending Vietnam war, concepts of peace as opposed to the cold war, feminism!. The 'hippy' era is over but the legacy lives on!. I can't speak for today's 'born-again' hippies!. Maybe they should be called something else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Most hippies were suburban kids who couldn't live on their own after they discovered just how hard it is to survive "seccession" from society at large!. That's why they went back to their parents world!. And that's why the modern version of hippies have this condescending attitude towards people who can survive!.!.!. calling them "Third World Victims", and wanting the rest of society to give charity to suburbanize the third world!. The Third World, on the other hand!.!.!.those remote locations that aren't directly affected by things like money and Western installed dictators!.!. look at the West and think "What a bunch of wasteful selfish bastards they are!. They don't even know how to farm!.
