The absence (perceived or real) of a better alternative keeps one from changing!.

For example, if one is not capable of charity, they'd rather be stingy than apathetic!. At least then that person would be engaged in the human community!.

Well, Sir, I'm reading a great book now!. It's called "Steering by Starlight"!. It's by Martha Beck, and I found her by accident when I took my husband to the Opthamologist!. She talks about how her youngest son, Adam, was diagnosed with Autism, and the great mistake she made misunderstanding his diability!. It's Chapter 7, BTW!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The way I think about my body in general, when I doubt myself and cause myself to mess up even though I had it right the first time!. I stopped eating sweets constantly when in school because I felt gross!. I try to go with my first guess on a question during a test!. I've tried to stop being so hard on myself because I do notice it upsets me that I do have this chatter in my head that puts me down!.Where in the heck does that come from!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
