Potemkin villages were real !?

If ANAO reports say that such and such as system was ordered, would it be treason to ask if there is that system, or if it is real!.

One system that comes to mind is Collins!.
Wouldn't it have needed a virtual system, a simulated system!.
All intended components of the real system would be simulated as computer programs!.
An individual manufacture can check that the system he is supplying can be substituted for the corresponding computer program!.
Would it be treasonous to ask if there is such a simulated system, or if it is real !?Www@QuestionHome@Com
