Used to be somewhat, but it is perhaps the passionate things of our lives that give the life definition!. If we equate destructive behavior with passion(s) sometimes we ARE THE SLAVE!.!.!.but if it is something we are passionate "about" we put all our energy into the thing!.!.!.as in music, art, ideas, communication!.!.!.etc!. One runs our life !.!.!.the other defines us as human beings with passions!.!.!.!.the spice and flavorful aroma of someone who lives!. Too many people are passionate about NOTHING!.! They have no deep interests nor do they ever "get out there"!.!.!. These are not the ones discovering new things and going where few men have gone before!. Experience and knowledge & wisdom should accompany passion and there would a mutually beneficial relationship in the association!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am a slave to my passions in life for it is self-serving!. However, i share this passions to others for i don't want to think of myself alone but of others too!. Isn't it there's a better feeling if you think not only of yourself but of others too!.

This is a fair question and most of us have had to consider it early on!.

Life would be genuinely dull without a bit of passion and the younger we are the more we tend to follow our immediate urges!.

The reproductive process being what it is and society being as sanctimonious as it is, the burden of sexual passion falls mainly,
(in the Plain, no! what am I thinking!?, sorry I couldn't help myself but it was a really good musical, even if they didn't use Julie Andrews in the movie),
on the female!.

Passion about intellectual pursuits is always OK and exhibits an expanded intellectual capacity!.

Finally, emotion does heavily influence our almost every decision, that is the part of human reasoning that we should all attempt to mollify!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes and sometimes sadly so!. For example my passion for running, or working out!. i would say i'm a slave to that!. cause i work so hard at it and sometimes i think i'm to hard on myself, i push myself to the point of injury or extreme fatigue!. my other passion in life is the strong connection to my daughters!. i would say i'm a slave to that too cause i work so hard at keeping a healthy relationship with them!. funny as that may sound, it's true!. they are so very different and i have had some extremely hard times with them that i'm a slave to stayin connected to them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
