yes electric eel's literally generate electricity, many other types of fish do the same, I saw a video once of a fish stunning its prey with a shock, pretty impressive!.

we don't get shocked ever time we swim because the electricity emitted by these fish gets dispersed quickly in any large volume of water, or as long as your are at least 3 feet away from the fish they cant shock youWww@QuestionHome@Com
