yes everything is beautiful in its own way!. during every war there have been artists on the sidelines painting pictures of the violence!. So even war can be beautiful!.

Then theres the girl who sits behind me in class who hasn't shaved her mustache in forever, but can still write a good poem, so shes beautiful in a way too!.

I think every thing may have a beauty, but not every behaviour!. We tend to be very loose on our interpretation of what we mean by "everything"!. A thing is neither good nor bad but an action is tainted by the motive and purpose!.
So if we are talking about tangible things then I would say that everything has potential beauty!.

a pessimist see's the world for what it is
an optimist see's the world the way we would like it to be
it is easy to see the beauty when you are happy and content, not so easy with a dead child in your arms, in a war, a famine, poor, diseased, persecuted, a penned up or hunted animal, animals tortured for OUR benefit at laboratories, etc, etc,!.

In a way it is possible that everything can be beautiful in the world and perhaps beyond it, but for this to hold true then the following would have to commence!.

Let us say a horrid act has commenced and I found that is disgusting, but for someone else it seems beautiful, but I do something and they find it horrible, even though I find it beautiful!. As a group or collective, there will always be someone in the world who will find beauty in something and as soon as they see something they do not like, then another person in the group will find it beautiful instead!.

The other side of the coin is as individuals!. It is impossible for an individual to say that there is beauty in everything!. There will come a time where a person will be utterly disgusted on what you have witnessed!. Unless you find some way to find its beauty, but in some cases I highly doubt it!.

I am not so sure if I have made it clear!.

As for that song which states everything is beautiful, i just plain do not believe it!. It smarts of ignorance somehow!. Its like such people just stand there in the face of adversity and say "gosh! its so beautiful", while others look at such horrors and will want to do something about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For me it is, I am content with what I have achieved with life!. I could have done more, I could have done less, but I accept my shortcomings and handle life the best I can, it is better than worrying yourself sick aiming for goals you can never attain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
