Question: Plane is crashing: do you feel relief or desperation!?
if you are christian (or of any religion with ideation of heaven), would you not rather be blissful on the face of death for your maker is calling you to heaven!?
It seems very contradictory for a Christian to be afraid of death!. In fact we should be counting days till death a!.k!.a!. the day we gonna go to heaven and have an incessant ball in this great paradise!.
I must dare to say anyone who will feel desperate and pray to God to save them in face of plane crash is revealing out that they are not believers!.
In that sense, I can understand that religious fanatics who commit suicide attacks, although I cannot agree with their act, are believers in the rawest of sense!.
We already know the answer!. Most of us are not true believers!. We will pray till our last dying breath for God not to take us to his heaven despite his will!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would submit that most "True Believers" are in fact "Semi Believers"!. A lot of "True Believers" are Hypocrites and a very few are really "True Believers"!. Most people in the non Islam, Hindu, Buddhist (ie Christian) religions are "Lip Service" religious observers!. They are basically putting on a front and hoping in the long run to "get by" when the time come that they have to answer to a higher power (assuming there is one)!. The eastern/asian religions tend to foster a much greater "Belief" than Christianity does!. Why this is so no one knows for sure!. My personal opinion is that Christianity, because it espouses the "Confession" principle, allows the individual to get away with a lot of thing for which he/she can later confess, be forgiven and all is well!. This allows one to have less fear of consequences (ie HELL)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That is why Christianity is a joke!. They believe in this "awesome" heaven, yet they are scared of death, probably more scared than anyone else!. The only reason they are Christian in the first place is due to their fear of death!. This promise of a heaven helps them to deal with their extreme fear of the unknown!. Christians: honestly ask yourself: if there was no heaven, would you still be a Christian!? Would you still care about Jesus Christ!? No way in hell!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I don't believe that praying to God to save them in face of plane crashs reveals that they are not believers!. People have a will to live, they want to go to God's heaven when they die!. Counting the days till death, in my opinion, is a will to die!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
