im lonely because i have no one to share a mutual depth of understanding and trust!.

some people just feel better by themselves too!.
I went to applebees for dinner by myself again tonite and i enjoyed watching a utah vs!. houston game on their televisions!.

I've also pretty much grown up alone!. I have a dad but!.!.!.not really!.!.!.and my mom works a full time job (she never let me or my little sis outside of the house!.!.!.over protective mother) so i've pretty much grown up inside my own head!.

another cause for loneliness might be a person being tired of being walked on!. If you try to extend yourself out to people and all you get is negative feedback it might make you appreciate withdrawal from outside influences!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, for me I think it's because of ourselves!. We don't want to join or participate in anything at all!. We are the kind of people who like peace and quiet and very shy of doing anything at anytime and anywhere!.Especially!. we don't like to share our ideas with one another so it make us become a kind of person that noone wants to be near or talk to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lonliness is desperately wanting to express yourself to people you care for and they turn their back to you!.
Similar to what somebody else said, its a lack of someone who is like-minded, understands you and genuinely wants to know you!. There are your friends, who are flimsy compared to this being!. Some call it love!. I don't!.
At least you would think your friends would fit nicely into this category that I've described above!. Perhaps I need better friends!. I believe every human being has this basic craving to be understood and have contact with that person!.
Sorry, I think this has just turned to bitter ramblings about my friends, but they might be the cause of lonliness for me, as they tend to push me aside for other friends!.
I also think its up to a person's willpower!. Those who have a strong heart and are independent are more likely to cope by themselves than those who seek companionship!.
