its always one phrase or movement or look etc that draws me in!.!.!. i never know what its going to be or who is going to do it, but when the time comes i know i love them!. its a weird feeling, i could know them for years and have no physical or spiritual attraction, but a single action is enough to at least consider the fact that there is something special about them!.!.!.

it has only ever happened twice!.!.!.

my first serious girlfriend, at a friends house i was talking to her and she smiled and said "perhaps!.!.!."
(it was a really dumb conversation) but from that moment on i was head over heels with her!.!.!. alas i moved and then she moved and we lost touch

the other time was with my friend at a party at a farm!.!.!. it was a warm night and the music was loud so we went into the field for a walk!.!.!. she stepped in some water and we decided to sit on one of the haybails and look at the stars until her shoe dryed!. she was really taken by the stars and asked me "i wonder what me being alive has to do with what goes on out there" we talked about that for a bit and got really close!. we stopped for a while and then she took my hand in hers and laid there for 2 hours until my buddy came looking for me!. i just felt the best i had ever in the world! we were 12 and we are still together 6 years laterWww@QuestionHome@Com

Or was it the four gin and tonics at the dance bar on that fateful Friday night where I spent half the night in the bathroom throwing up with diarreah (sp), and, like a true warrior, braved the stench to keep my hair out of my eyes!.

Actually there has been more than one person to whom I've fallen in love with!. The sweetest one was 6th grade--he laughed at all my jokes--my tomboy sister beat him up--I told my parents on her, and then we bonded for many years after that!.

But no one, I mean no one , can beat the star crossed lovers story of Romeo and Juliet, so I'm done here!.

I haven't been in love yet!. However, I would imagine that you get enormous butterflies in your stomach and you have this feeling that you can't really explain--and don't need to explain!. Something that would make you fall in love with someone would probably be unexplainable!. For example, when someone asks you why you are so close with your best friend, you don't say "Because she has a cool car!. or because he's the life of the party" Most of the time, people can't really give a straight-forward answer that explains all the reasons why and so they simply say "Just because!."

Well now I think I'm getting distracted with another topic!. So in short, I believe that the special thing about the person you are in love with cannot be explained--because the bond is so deep!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That one special person!.!.!.!. well, we met at work!. The first day I saw him I knew he was the most handsome guy I had ever seen, and that he carried the persona of a person who was just a truly nice, happy person!. We worked together for a while and had so much fun together just working and getting to know each other as friends/ co-workers!. I never thought I would ever be anything more than that to him, especially because we were very different as far as interests and styles etc!. But still I felt like we both secretly were falling in love!. Eventually, life happened and I became single, and he gave me a rose as I was leaving work that day and said, "I know now may not be the time, but I want to be with you!. You are a special person and I will wait for you until you're ready"!.

We have dated seriously for the last five years on and off (it hasn't always been perfect)!. And we have both grown and changed from who we were that night!. But I think that is how I know I really am in love with him!. We have taught each other things through our differences, been there for each other through difficult times, and remained passionate through it all!. Love is something that doesn't always work out, but while you have it it feels wonderful!

I guess to answer what made me fall in love with him was that I never felt like I was standing still in life when we were together!. Where do I begin!.!.
We had been corresponding for 4 years in mails, though it wasn't that spontaneous!. It was all so natural that we feel so passionately loving and very understanding to eachother!. Not even too much words are needed!. It was just like a match made from heaven!. Although there were barriers that had been stopping us from seeing eachother, and it was a tough desperate feelings that severed at times, yet we still do really understand no matter what nor inspite of whatever!. I fell in love with Thomas because I felt that he had a very wonderful soul and a warm loving heart!. I'm not sure that I've ever been in love--maybe that's what it was!. I know I "fall into something" on a serial basis, and it's usually based on several factors!. Integrity, sense of humour, intelligence, empathy, compassion, kindness, but it always starts with one thing!. It's when I see a guy who is in a crowd, but who is somehow above it; when he is quietly off in a corner somewhere looking out at the scene before him with a self-confident smile on his face, I wonder what is going on in his mind!. That mystery intrigues me, and while I may never speak to him, he is the most attractive person in the room because he comes across as almost unknowable!.
