As a paint in a room to live in, I love steel blue!. It is also called periwinkle blue!.
To wear, indigo (denim ) is pretty for pants, cerulean for something softer , like a blouse or dress!.
I like blue on others in all shades, like a dark blue grey worsted wool blazer worn with a light baby blue shirt on a guy!. or plain silk dark blue 3 piece suit!. Old fashioned!. I think that light blue suits look awful and tacky even for summer weddings and proms!. If you have a suit like that in your wardrobe, lose it!.
