Question: Do you think life is pointless!?

do you think an ant running on your table have a point in its life or have a bearing on yours!? aren't most of us like those insignifcants for the people living 10,000 years from now!? how many of you can confidently declare that no one can substistute you!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Life in general is pointless!. You just stay alive until you die then it's all over!. You get 70 some years for living and an eternity of not existing!. Who gives a **** what you do!? Save a life, save the world, rob a bank, ruin the world!.!.!. it's all the same!.

The only reason life would mean anything is if the religious people got it right and there's more!. But that doesn't seem to be the case!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. I believe that God created me (and the ant), that he values both of us, and that because He loves His creation, He has made contact with us and has a perfect plan for our lives!.

noone can substitue me!. In order to do that they would need to be my exact weight, my exact height, they would need to sleep the exact same way and time I do to breath the exact same way!. Not only that but they would need to live in the exact same time as ME which IS IMPOSSIBLE in this world for to do that he would have to be inside of me, so I guess you could say there is a infinite ammount of me in one place at one time for as long as I am here!.

Yeah I kind of think life is pointless but you know what I do when I think this way!? I start to think about other things!.

I think that life is a bit pointless!. My religion tells me there's a life after Earth, so why waste time down here!.

Whether or not my life has any significance in 10k years, it has significance now!. Which is all (IMO) it needs to have to be worth something!. Not much in the grand scheme of things, I agree!. But "not much" is not "no value at all"!.
I think it is fair to say that very few individuals are important singularly!. I believe that people's lives are important in the aggregate!.
And not only humans, but all living things, since they (again in the aggregate) make the world a working system!.

In the long term, I can confidently declare that ANYONE can substitute me!.
In the short term, and among a VERY small segment of humanity I can confidently declare that no one can replace me!.

I know that noone can substitute me when I see the look on my mom's face when she sees me!.!.!. when my dog runs up to me when I come home!.!.!. when my boyfriend calls me by the ridiculous nickname he came up with for me, knowing that any other girl would beat him senseless for it but I love it!.!.!.!.
I know nobody can dance quite as recklessly without caring who's watching at any given time!.!.!.!. nobody can fit into my skull and roses rubber cowboy boots and walk down the street without blushing!.!.!.!.

You carve your own little niche in the world!. You matter to the people that love you and if you truly want to, I believe anybody is capable of creating the type of impact that generations later people will talk about - but it takes a ton of determination and hard, hard work!.
I'll be happy if I've got people around me that would genuinely miss me if I was gone!.

As to the people living 10,000 years from now!.!.!.!.!.
I'll be glad if our species manages to survive in it's current state for the next 500 !

Maybe I'll try to brush it down, accidentally knock over my water glass, slip in the puddle, bump my head and suddenly realize that I can invent a new quantum physics accelerator!.!.!.!.

Life is pointless from an objective view, but it has a subjective point!. Just by being alive, you instill meaning into your experience!. There's no way to know if the meaning you see is "objectively real," but that ultimately doesn't matter; you have the ability to focus your awareness on whatever you want, and when you do that becomes the point!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think Life is pointless to people who use life well!. I think life has its advantages and its disadvantages!. For ex-sample: For people who live themselves truly and live their life to the best everyday then no life isn't pointlesss at all!. Life is only pointles when you give it up cause you can't get it back!. Disadvantages about life is that it can either be too quick or too slow!.
