People hundred of years ago survive without them, i remember when I was young living in Asia-we used to fetch water from a water pump!.!.It's hard work--but good exercise and makes you appreciates more about water!.!.rather than waste it!.!.cos now everyone (almost) got a tap in their house in Asia!.!.and you see people how they waste their water!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it would widen the gap between rich and poor!. People would start selling themselves as labour to those who could afford it to fetch water!. So much time would be wasted!Www@QuestionHome@Com
