It is not to "overcome our human naturality" that we use reason. It is to find it. Aristotle formulated this idea, and called what we can attain "qua Man."

"Qua Man" is the best that is predicated of our species. That "best" is our "naturality."

"Aristotle may be regarded as the cultural barometer of Western history. Whenever his influence dominated the scene, it paved the way for one of history's brilliant eras; whenever it fell, so did mankind. "
Review of J.H. Randall's Aristotle,

Plato+Augustine+Christianity=the Dark Ages
Aristotle+Aquinas+Christianity=the long hard climb out of the Dark Ages.

The height of the Renaissance proved "qua Man" exists, but then Kant reintroduced Platonic thinking and the Renaissance Man as an ideal ended.

Now people like you believe we must "overcome" what Platonic thinking causes us to become. But you blame it on our "humanity." Blame it on Platonism, instead.

Its hard to understand where your coming from! If your trying to say something along the lines of, we shouldnt be able to blaim our actions on things such as bad attitudes of others etc then i think your half right. We can control how we act and behave but at the same time, not everyone can identify how they act.

ok mr concete, i would like to welcome your all knowing *** to the real world. you donnot sound a bit complex, accuatly you sound moronic. if you really want to know about the real world get out of your bubble and listen and watch. i don't think i want to waist anymore time with you

Yeah i can understand that, i believe we are on this world to have the experiences of life and to learn from the experiences given to carry them on to the next life, like you said some, but i feel we learn from, selfishness, unselfishness, greed, poverty etc, to name just a few of life's experiences to learn from before we carry on I'm sure if we don't get it right we could possibly make it better next time we are here.

There is no such word as "naturality."
