Question:Why is it that when a girl initiates sex...?
They are viewed as "easy" and have lost respect from guys, while when it's the guy that initiates sex, they don't get penalized. First and foremost, I would like to say that I absolutely disagree with this idea and I refused to abide by it. Guys are assuredly more sexually active then women (and of course it takes two). My point is that I don't feel like men should have that much power over a woman because of what she does sexually. Imagine what kind of world it would be today, if this ideology went both ways, where both men and women do not respect one another because both have been sexually active at one point in their lives. I am not saying that every men thinks this way, nonetheless, the majority does. I personally, don't respect a guy who's been around, but I know the chances of me finding one who has is very slim. What are your views on this?

starts from the very beggining of men having more authority over women. men were allowed to go and cheat on their wives and their wives were beaten and punished if they so much as looked at another man. now men are commended for getting some 20 yr old when their 40 while women are called cradle robbers.
double standards. men cant take care of their appearance without an ssumption of gayness. males cant be nannies because its too feminine. its weird when a woman is a firefighter because this is a job for manly men, women shouldnt be too sporty. (i do not agree with these i'm just saying from things i've noticed before)

Sexism, pure and simple. The sexist double-standard of a patriarchal society. It's still -everywhere- and doesn't look like it's going away any time soon, even though feminists (female AND male) point this junk out whenever it happens. It's as if people don't want it to go away or something.

I have been married most of my life and do not cheat. So I have had many girls/women put the moves on me while remaining focused on my wife.. I do not think this is a lack of experience as much as no need for variety. No need to cheat on a soulmate, it won't be any better and could be disappointing.

it's not really that hard, look at the traditional roles we each play. Guy wants to inseminate as many as possible, girl wants to mate and have a fairly stable thing.

because if both genders did not have anything to restrain them, thne they would be mating more, rsulting in more of the bad consequences. If one gender has something to at least restrain them a little, then it is less chance in the over all term of the bad consequences. It is women who are labelled as men need a more frequent release, hence why they masterbate. Woman are stronger at resisting so when they let it go to often, they are labelled.
its a harsh cycle but keeps a leash on sex for the overall population in some respect.
