2. The universal imperative of duty says that we should act as if the maxim of our action were never to become a universal law of nature. T/F

3. Since pure moral philosophy seeks for a universal moral law, it should be expounded from the viewpoint of anthropology. T/F

4. The natural sympathetic inclination of man is the only true incentive that can give an action moral worth. T/F

5. It is not from the special characteristics of human nature that we derive the reality of a supreme moral principle. T/F

1. T
2. F (we should only act if that action can be seen as one everyone should do. i.e. cheating. Would it be okay if EVERYONE cheated? no.)
3. F (this is just a guess, however)
4. F. (the thing which gives an action moral worth is that which is done purely as a duty regardless of "man's" sympathetic inclinations)
5. Our moral principles arrive from following the categorical imperatives - things which are good in themselves. So my inclination is to say that 5 is True. We do NOT derive a moral principle from our humanity.
