Question:I've been thinking and i wonder if it ment by creating a legacy, by living a life worth remembering, you become immortal.

good interpretation. i think you may be right, BUT because you lived a good life - if that's what you mean by a life worth remembering - then not only will YOU be remebered because of the legacy you left, but you WILL advance into an eternal life in HEAVEN with GOD.

That's a good interpretation, but it is not Catholic doctrine, or Christian for that matter. The Church and the protestants teach that YOU will live forever, not your legacy. But I like your interpretation. It's very reminiscent of Greek myth where a promise immortality sometimes meant only in myth, and not in heaven.

ok, well im catholic and i think if you lead a good life you'll make it into Heaven. i dont believe in immortality though. i believe in Heaven, hell, and purgatory. life does eventually end and i think there's no such thing as immortality. i think it more like you live forever in heaven, not earth.
