Do you think that we live in an UNFAIR SOCIETY?

Question:Of course we live in an unfair society. The way we feel about it depends on if things are swinging in your favor or not. Sometimes, it is easier to be blind to it. But if we are truly honest and take the blinders off, we will see things as they really are. But if you can honestly say that you live in a fair society, tell me where you live, so I can live there too. It is totally UNFAIR for you to keep something like that a secret.

fairness is an illusion

Not to me, it's not. Life's been pretty good for that last 5 years.

No, I don't think so. The unfairness is only in the eye of the beholder. Take a hard look
at yourself. Whenever people take too long to look at themselves, they start seeing everything unfair around.

Unfairness is real. Consider being a child playing with a group of kids and only one of them gets the schools toys to play with; the teachers kid.

Obviously that isn't fair. And certain things, not necessarily in that manner, could be unfair in society where all people aren't treated equally and given what they deserve as much as those that do.

Selfishness does exist. Crimes do exist, and so it wouldn't be so unreasonable to assume it can't currently exist at the higher levels.

Of course we do...always have and if we don't change our ways always will...

I don't think it's unfair. Everyone has the same opportunities. I go to work every day, stay away from debt and credit cards, live with in the law. And I have the things I want. I like it. I am concerned about the Democrats being in control next November though. They have promised to raise income taxes. No nation has been taxed into prosperity.

There are several types of fairness. Obviouly God, or nature, is not fair. How else to explain my failure and your success?
Perhaps our contasts, rich and poor, healthy and sickly, happy or miserable, fearful and confident. etc can be laid at the feet of God, that there is a Master Plan that explains our disparities ...

l have a problem with a society in which the President attends 9 innaugural balls while a man freezes to death on the streets of Paterson NJ
how to explain that some people get an education while working 2 jobs while other kids drink, do drugs,and fornicate their way through college, get a diploma faster than the others and opporunities at better jobs
how to explain all the food we dump in garbage daily while others stand on line for hours in the rain to get a handout from soup kitchen
how to explain why some mothers get to pursue careers, leaving kids in the care of other mothers whos kids are neglected
how to explain why some folks live in gated comunities while others dodge bullets in thir own homes
Why are hotels in New Orleans thriving while a displaced population lives in moldy trailers
why are children of the powerful exempt from defending the nation?
Why are patients in ambulances turned away from hospitals with empty beds
How come there's a huge difference in infant death rate between Blacks and Caucasians
why do some people get chance after chance in courts while others go straight to jail for same offense.

Society is working on love and fairness, but all events are spiritually just and lawful..

our society may seem perfect, but it is totally wrong.
the image we perceive from our society, the philosophy it is promoting, its all just based on appearance.

Fellowship with God is merciful. Choose fellowship with God and do something constructive about life. Spend zero time worrying if it's fair.
