Excellent question and difficult to answer. I will attempt to respond what I think "living from the heart" means to me:

1. Acting on an emotional manner based on feelings and sentiments.

2. Listening to your soul where affection, passions, love, tenderness and sympathy reside.

3. Seeing the world with compassion, empathy and kindness.

Living with one's heart is to live in earnest, fervently, genuinely and with all sincerity and mercy.
