Question:I saw a picture of a basketball net and a court and it said underneath the picture “You miss all the shots you never take”. Does anyone else find comfort in the certainty of that statement?

Yes I do, because it means I have self-will to use, and where I fail to use it, I can't make the shot, let alone the set-up.

It says something about the psychology of a person, whether or not he/she finds confort in that certainty of self-will. Such certainty does not mean every set-up will result in 1 point, much less 3; but it means you can't even try for 1 if you don't try for 1.

I wish to congratulate you for asking one of the most cognitive/psychological questions I have seen here. What ever made you put that statement with "comfort" and "certainty"? Kudos

this means that if you don't take advantage of a good opinion then it is gone for life.

It means that every open-door, you must take the golden opportunity while it is there waiting otherwise failure to do so, is letting it pass and shall never come back when it is forever gone.

There is the open field, strike your best shot before it is too late.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

No, I do not find any comfort in the certainty of that statement.
