sorry, i don't get it.

I am trying to figure out exactly what you are saying but!! Were human we make bad judgements sometimes! Yeah of course it would be easier not to do it in the first place but it does not work that way usually..

That if u could do things over, u would genuinely not do it. Also that u would not do this thing which u r sorry for again in the future.

It means the person saying it doesn't fully understand that people make mistakes.
When people say that it sounds to me like they're saying
"I don't care how badly you feel or how badly you are trying to make things right, I'm too immature to even make the effort at this moment in time"

You can royally mess up and say you're sorry and truly mean it. Just because you did whatever it is, doesn't mean that hindsight isn't 20/20.

you shouldnt have done what ever event that is making you say sorry now

like if you ruined a new shirt because you decided to play in a mud puddle and your parents got angry

I always bear in mind that an argument doesn't need a winner or a loser.And saying sorry definitely doesn't mean you're loser.
