I agree with southerngrits - the truth does not bring closure in itself - the acceptance of it does.

Yes because however painful it is, it frees your soul.

depends on the situation truth can hurt sometimes

I agree with the first comment made. I'd give her props but I'm still at level 1...

if you can accept the truth with out be man at the messenger

not necessarily

You'd have to figure out what the truth is first; and if you're defining 'truth' as what's most agreeable (to avoid questions of uncertainty), you're essentially entailing closure.
What I'll warn you against is expecting there to exist universal, unquestionable truths which, when realized, bring closure; those can be hard to find, and oftentimes when found are susceptible to questioning of how 'true' they really are. If you put too much hope in such a notion of truth, you may disappoint yourself if you're not careful. This is the dangerous stuff of philosophy; many lives and limbs have been lost in thought-experiments that were just too real.

The "Truth" opens up gates that have been closed!
The "Truth" is that which leads a human being towards a new beginning. We are living in an age of all possibilities!
Limitations are a dreaded form of closure.

I would say understanding can bring closure, and truth is essential for understanding--that is, for me. Some seem to be able to easily move on without ever fully grasping what happened. I'm not one of them.

the truth sets you free,

The truth can bring answers but closure is not guaranteed. Closure is a personal and different for everyone.
