Quit smoking, although i wouldn't say it was "simple".

I listened to my heart and started a relationship with my best friend - I always hid my feelings because I was hurt real bad from another boyfriend a few years ago. He told me repeadely that he had feelings for me but I always pushed him away. I finally opened up and realized that I love him. We have been together since december and this simple change of heart for me- makes my heart beat like it never did before.

Statistics say that if you change your diet to a healthy one, work out daily, and get involved in extra curricular activities, you are more prone to being more socially active and you reduce the chance of falling into depression and committing suicide.

We moved out of an area where there was increasing crime
everyday. This was the best thing I could have ever done. We
have been living quietly here for the past 3 years, with no problems.

I quit drinking almost 11 years ago...It changed my life for the better...and it changed the lives of those around me!!

I quit smoking in 1991 and have never looked back. I know it was one of the best, yet one of the hardest, things I've ever done.

My ex-husband divorced me after 22 years of marriage for his pregnant g/f. If he had not done that I would have gone on thinking we were happily married and I would still be trapped in that farce of a marriage--instead I started dating and found my way to the BDSM lifestyle and only wish I had found it 30 years ago!!! I'm having a wonderful time in my new life! So I guess the ex's cheating ended up being a positive thing.

Not spending more money than we could afford on our house kept us from losing it like many did in the housing downturn.

Not buying things on credit cards we couldn't pay for each month has kept us debt free.
