If a tree has no leaves nor branches can you still call it a tree?

Question:The leaf, the branch, the trunk, the root are all part and parcel of the tree.

We humans like to name things and pretend that this makes us know a lot.

Yeah it's still a tree because before it had no leaves or branches it was once a tree, basically you just climb up a tree cut everything off, it's still a tree. ^_^

if the reason it has no branches is because it is an unfinished model of a tree then even upon completion it will never actually be a tree, although it can still be called a tree.
