Position:Home>Philosophy> There is always goodness & evil in all of us? There are some who love to exhibit

Question:i am following ur command and writing a fresh new answer !!! so dun think it is repitition...

very true...

i think this is the biggest exam that we face in life...this exam is set by God...God gives us various situations...easy and difficult both....it is our decision as to how we tackle those situations...what are attitude wud be...wat wud our actions be....

Experiences in life should be dealt with immense positivity....we must believe that our God loves us alot and has a gr8 plan for all of us...if presently we r facing difficult times then this is also for our development and spiritual growth...we must deal with it positively and with faith in our God...wat we might think is good for us yet God didn't give us...that thing is surely somewhere harmful for us hence God denied our wish....what God gives us is wat is good for us and that wud help to make our lives beautiful...

However...ppl who do not deal with life positively..who do not have pure and complete faith in God...they r filled with bitterness in their hearts....they think negative...hence slowly their actions too become negative...they stop listening to the conscience within them (which is the soul...the part of God within us)...and act bitterly...negatively....

they do evil and bitter things to take out their frustration and bitterness on something/someone else...they think that they wud feel better by doing so...however...they fail to realise that it wud only increase the emptiness of their heart..it wud increase the hole in their hearts....

they do not "love" to do evil...they have a wrong attitude and try to find relaxation by doing evil....something like a drug addict consumes even more drug to gain momentary relaxation...not realising that they r weakening their bodu and mind each time they consume it...sorry that was a very strong example...

we must within our capabilities try to change their attitude towards things, help them to see and feel rather locate positivity in everything ...learn to "see the lotus even in the dirt " (this statement of urs wud be an eternal gift for me brother..thnx for this)...slowly once they accep positivity...keep faith in God...they wud themselves, willingly...walk back the path that they travelled and start a new journey of positivity with much more confidence, much more happiness...and trust me...immense peace and satisfaction in their hearts :)

good question.

good question.

Being evil is much more fun. No rules! If you are good, you have to act good, do as your told etc. Whereas being evil means you don't have to do as you're told. Just do your own thing! That's what I do anyway.

Some people exhibit evil because their consciense is resting (or on hold until further notice) and they have no thoughts against being evil.

Yes, there is goodness and wickedness in all of us. It is easier to be bad than being good. And doing evil things give us more enjoyment (shallow, fleeting enjoyment) and most of us look for that shallow, fleeting enjoyment.

Everyone who lets out their evil are uncontrollable idiots, they do on purpose to disturb our world and do things to hurt other people. Vandalism is another example, plants, buildings and industrial things are all being destroyed by these mindless people.

SOME don't know how to 'control' the EVIL! SOME are incapable of controlling the 'EVIL'! And, SOME, ARE evil!

Some think that it is a GOOD thing to be a GOOD example of a BAD thing! (ie., EVIL) Is that a GOOD thing?

Hard to 'say', isn't it?!

I was 'taught' from a young age, that if I didn't have anything GOOD to say... Keep MY mouth SHUT!!!

Sometimes I wish I still had that 'restraint'!

Sometimes more thorough attempts will also be made to describe the origin of evil and how it might tend to come into existence as well, and sometimes those attempts will fall under the category of describing as false various forms of goodness. Among some schools of thought, the idea is put forth that all evil comes from the excessive pursuit of goods of lesser value, at the expense of goods of greater value. For instance, greed derives from the pursuit of gain for one's self, generally a good thing, at the expense of others, generally a bad thing. Overeating may result from the exchange of momentary pleasure derived from the eating of food, for the greater good of long term health. In psychology similar processes might occur in the formation of various types of addictions. No particular thing is thus considered to be intrinsically bad automatically, but rather evil will come from the pursuit of various goods in excess, to the expense of other more important ones, which are then neglected.

It takes all kind of people to make the world. Some want to be shallow and evil and get some fun out of this , Well that is just that . The world makes of people who are more good than evil else we will cease to exist ( You think we will have babies if we know only evil exists ?)

Our habit of hurting... is a proof that we don't see things as the essence of realization...and we mistake it as source of our...false happiness.

I've got a better question: why not?

We're used to thinking, that "evil" is smth bad. But it's just the other way of living in comparison with "good". Not the opposite, but just the other. By the way, there's no pure evil or good, there're just some, let's say, percentage variations. So I repeat my question: why not?

I wonder the same thing, Gentleman. I think the answer depends on the person. Some people like to be mean, some people don't care enough about others to be kind, some people are tired and weary of life and don't pay attention to their behavior, and some people haven't been taught how to behave properly.

P.S. I'm glad you're here!

they just have a wrong idea towards the world and people. the circumstances, the incidents in their life make them exhibit their evil. this could be the main reason but not the only one. beaten up by the world, not a much help from the goodness they had possessed, evil overtaking the goodness in them....and eventually developed some sort of strong hatred towards the goodness and that's why they exhibit their evil. they don't like to exhibit their goodness but they definitely have goodness in them, some where deep down in the heart. they just don't accept it. a very strong turnover in their life may change them.we can just pray for them.

this is only one reason (that i felt would be the main cause), but there could be n number of reasons for doing evil.

To some people, good is seem as weak.
Bad or evil is seem as strong and powerful.
Girls seem to attracted to this type of guys.

To some people, they can't get love and respect, so the alternative is to get fear and respect. By exhibiting their evil side.

Some people confuse showing evil with being "strong". It's sad really. :)

Evil thoughts make a person to commit evil action.

Because of sin...
God made a perfect world for us, but our sinful nature ruined it. We ALL exhibit our sinful side (evil) at times - but we need to ask for forgivness and then move on.
And for those who sin against us we are commanded to:
Eph 4:31-32
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour , and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
