If I could know what I know now and take my computer and interent with me, I'd like the 50's. I liked the glamor of the movie stars, our clothes in high school, family reunions, everything cost less, it was a more innocent time.

back to 2004 when i was a kid and life was fun. And everyone was friends with everyone, it didn't matter what clothes you wore or who you hung out with.. high school sucks

I would want it to go back to history and see first hand what really happened but I really dont wanna meddle with time either.

I would like to travel to the year 1192, before Richard the Lionhearted returned to England. It would be interesting to see what really happend during this short and very unsuccessful crusade. Did Richard really earn his nickname or was it all built upon a lie?
Maybe we could even find Robin Hood at that time. If he ever existed, that is.

1967 Just before I was pregnant with my first daughter I would just like to roam around London once more and drink in the sights and smells and truly appreciate that time- Just watching people and loving how they were - innocent - simpler. I would like to learn more about how we got here from there. Try to see the cracks in the idealism.

But seriously, I'd like to go back in time to when was Jesus around so I could find out first hand what he actually preached and claimed, rather than the account in the bible that was written down in the gospels a hundred or so years later from hearsay of hearsay of hearsay, filtered and altered by the church leaders who compiled it.

Megalomaniac: Yes there was lots of clean air and water during the PLAGUE. That must have been such a pleasant time to live in. People lived is squalor, lived miserable lives and died young. Not my idea of utopia.

I'd go back to the year 1000 (Lou Reed got it just about right when he said that he wished he was born a thousand years ago).

Microsoft, Wal-mart and Oil wouldn't run the world and there would still be some clean air to breathe and clean water to drink.

Of course it would be a little more pleasant being a lord instead of a serf (as long as there weren't too many wars to fight), but that would apply to any age and any place.

Back to a time when people had enough literacy not to put an apostrophe in WANT.
