This has happened to me, in different manners. Sometimes I'll dream about mundane events, then I won't remember if it really happened or not. The other one was more scary. I dreamt that I was in some place, and planes from some other country were dropping over me. It was really quite terrifying, especially when I woke up I couldn't understand that it was just a dream. It took me several hours to completely calm down and accept that it didn't happen. I was quite shaken up. Many times I have had a dream where something bad happens and then my waking feeling of relief is pure bliss.

How do u know that what we think of reality, is actually a dream, and what we think is a dream, is actually reality

In dream you can see the people but they are not see you.But in reality you can see people and they also see you.

You can control reality; but you can't control dreams.

SURE!

I would wake-up and want to make a 'phone-call'...

And REALIZE that there was no NUMBER to CALL..

Don't get all 'worked-up' about it!

Have a cup of Coffee, or Tea, and 'FILE' your DREAM where it belongs... ALICE had a dream too... or did you never hear THAT story!

Sustained consistency differentiates reality from dream..... that is why we get confused with those dreams that are logically as well as emotionally consistent on a prolonged basis. Dreams generally are inconsistent because of lacking in logic, detail and continuity.

A dream is still part of your reality because it happened, maybe only to you but it still happened and it can affect you and your way of thinking. True reality affects everyone it touches and has physical consequences that are much further reaching.

Yes - i regularly have dreams that seem so real i have to remind myself that they are a dream - it has actually led to arguments in the past when i am convinced i have told someone something or they me when i actually dreamt it!

Dreams rock!

A dream is something you wish for, something you hate or something that just pops into your mind when your asleep. Reality is way different, it actually happens and you can experience it with your body and or mind.

Reality is what we physically see, do e.t.c... and a Dream is an abstract picture of the mind.

Reality is the state of things as they actually exist.
Dreams can link to actual sensations, such as the incorporation of environmental sounds into dreams such as hearing a phone ringing in a dream while it is ringing in reality, or dreaming of urination while wetting the bed. Some philosophers have extended this idea to a skeptical hypothesis about ontology. The first recorded mention of the idea was by Zhuangzi, and was also discussed in Hinduism; Buddhism makes extensive use of the argument in its writings. It was formally introduced to western philosophy by Descartes in the 17th century in his Meditations on First Philosophy. The "dream argument" is the postulation that the act of dreaming provides preliminary evidence that the senses we trust to distinguish reality from illusion should not be fully trusted, and therefore any state that is dependent on our senses should at the very least be carefully examined and rigorously tested to determine if it is in fact "reality."

Dream : The world , where we are living .
Reality : The judgement day, what we are going to face.

i think the difference is your actual state of consciousness. i "disassociate" sometimes and then i can't tell the difference between the two, but that's just a neurological problem....

This is maybe a silly answer of mine , that is : " in a dream , you can see your ownself in doing things of you like doing it ? " ?.

Dream is an illusion.
Reality is a nightmare.

Or

Dream is a fantasy.
Reality is a illusion.
