Identity in general, and certainly in my case is constantly evolving. It comes from a mixture of parental imprinting (positive or negative), individually-chosen idols and symbology, experience and current circumstance. Just as an example, my identity changed radically and much for the better when I became a father. The same is true to a lessor degree when I became a husband, a Marine, a Doctor of Philosophy.....the list goes on. Ultimately, identity is the interpay between what we would like to be, what we have demonstrated we are, and the challanges of the moment.

My identical twin sister, but it hasn't always been this way.

I base it on my mission. I'm glad to have found mine. To love, honor and cherish my woman that God has introduced to me. Career, money, talent are all just means to this end.

Identity : man of God, husband.

what's yours?

I base my identity on my ideals and values. What I believe in is what defines me.

Principle

I'm not the man I was twenty years ago...nor the child I was fourty years ago, each day that passes possesses elements that define who I am...today. We all have that hat full of broken dreams, or that wishing well we sometimes draw from, but who we are today depends on what we must go through today...tomorrow? Well...now that's a different story isn't it?

My family and the places I've been.
