Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: as in recreat a live wooly mammoth, recreate a human from the past, such as marlyn monroe and soforth

Yes, it is a possibility.

A human from the past might be the same human genetically but would NOT be anything like that person so I don't think anyone would want to.

I think it may be possible but I dont think its right.

Technically that's what we already do with the cloning that's happened. The problem is, where do you put the DNA? In current experiments, it's been implanted in other specimens of the same species, or thereabouts. Obviously, as there are no surviving wooly mammoth, this is the part that would pose the problem. If scientists could find a suitable host, this is something we already have the technology to do.

Myabe not for 100 years but eventually it seems very likely.

depends on what you mean by the "same". Yes, as others already said, genetically it is possible. But the environment is never the same and it defines the person.

Probably. Anything is possible. Knowing the technology secret laboratories have at they're disposal, they very well could do this...eventually.
