i had read it in a sms. Cool even i changed my notion since i read it. I have even written it on the front page of my diary. Whenever im hurt or when i feel lonely or forsaken, i remember this line n try to endure it. Actually thats how i got out of depression n started seeing it as a bliss for poetry.
Nice to see sm1 who takes pain in a better way otherwise ppl mostly quit n say it hurts.

I don't understand your last sentence.

My opinion about pain is. "It hurts."

LOL. i thought it was going to be some philosopher or something. and out of all people, its from Criss Angel. hahaha. His show is sooo funny. I like to watch him do ridiculously corny stuff, like stick his entire arm through someone's body, walk up the side of buildings, float from roof top to roof top, and get run over by a steam roller.

my opinion about pain: it can be very addictive; let's not indulge it.

Yes, it's quite a good way of handling suffering. I would say it's also linked to the prospect of imminent death making one feel more alive.

only thing everyone suffers

I think you've never experienced huge pain.

All i know is that the degree of pain is determined by our mind.If you decided that its too pain full, then it will be.
If you try to make it moderate, then it will be.
But i wounder how you would deal with child birth pain!By you are a man..

Pain to me,is the heart suffering both physical and mental anguish expressed as feeling or emotion.

My opinion about PAIN?.........IT HURTS!

There is pain on many levels and I've experienced a few of them... Many years ago I was wounded, twice over the course of my tour and although I don't remember much of the first wound(head), the second one hurt like hell. Not much fun.
Later in life I began to run as a form of rehabilitation from my service injuries, got addicted and ran everyday for years. There is a pain one experiences somewhere out along mile 21 or 22 that is uniquely different and my mind became part of the process that pushed my body through it.
About this time I learned that I could simply turn pain off for short periods of time, deny the pain any chance to exist. That worked say for having a tooth pulled or some minor stitches in a hand. Dentists seemed OK with it, Doctors got a bit freaked.
Today, at 59 I am experiencing a great deal of pain from both my wound sites and arthritis, I make every effort to use my mind and body to move through these difficult times of the day and of course seasons. This is the most challenging of all my forays with pain and I wage a daily battle with this silent enemy but time will settle the issue before I come up with a real solution.

Some times pain is a necessary part of life. It can provide an opportunity for growth and learning. Because our past is a part of who we are. Our experiences, whether they are positive or negative shape who we are as individuals. Remembering our past experiences helps us to learn and grow. In time painful memories dim, but the lessons learned will remain with us forever. Perhaps in this sense we can learn to appreciate the lessons learned through painful experiences.

i think that pain hurts. ouch.
