Look at it this way. If I'm thumping your head with a baseball bat and you shut your eyes, I will still be there thumping.

reality is whats there. If you see something and it disappears then thats what happened and therefore its reality but since in this world that doesn't happen then it's not reality because it probably won't happen. If I see a trashcan and you see a trashcan then we both see the object, however how our brain percieves it is different. When you see a trashcan what do you think about it? Do you think it's gross? When I see a trashcan what do I think? That someone just picked it up and emptied it? We don't perceice it the same but we see the exact same thing there: a trashcan or the form of it. Just because you don't see it it's still there. It's mass is there and if you went over to touch it you would feel it. If you couldn't feel? Then you cold still hear it. If you couldn't hear then you could still taste it. If you couldn't taste it? Then you could still smell it. If you couldn't smell it then something else can. If nobody else can then is it still there? Possibly...

According to Einstien matter does not exist, we asume it does through perception formulated by eyesight. Shutting one's eyes and walking into a brick wall results in passing through the wall in reality. but misperception gives us the impression of hitting it.

you cant see reality. reality isnt a thing. its an idea. you cant see oxygen but take it away and you'll damn sure know its real for about 3 minutes untill you die. visual reality is based on sight but thats just one layer of reality. sound is a layer. touch, smell all these things added up build what we call reality. ive never actually seen china but i still know its real.

The Eiffel Tower exists. I don't care if you've seen it or not, I have the common sense to know it exists. So do you, now use it.
