Enough content to make sense but not so much that there are no puzzle pieces that I need to put together.

Love and blessings Don

I like it left very vague. We learn more about ourselves when we actually have to think about how a teaching relates to us and how we see the world.

when truly receiving it, you should only listen, just sit and listen, it is directed to your very being... when evaluating and judging it with mind, you spoil it.
diksha moksha (sanskrit: initiation frees)... one simple word of an enlightened being can liberate you if you truly listen.

Does this metta include dogs, giraffes, primates and goldfish?
In my search for truth I want all the lessons, perhaps it will break me but then perhaps they are designed to make me.
Make me worth God's while.........

Basic information for me, I like to do a lot of searching.

Spiritual/religious teaching can be :
1.Dogmatic; just accept what the authority tells you
2. Logical (left brain activity); you use your logical reasoning to study and examine the subject matter.
3.Intuitive (right brain activity); you use your intuition to understand it.
The best way is combining the three modes of learning.

I think being vague helps most. This way, even if it contradicts my Church's views, you are Thinking on your own, age exclusive!, and have your own relationship with God!

It should be the simple truth.

Are you already planning teaching before you really start studying?
