Question:Why bother living life if we are just going to lose it all in the end?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Why bother living life if we are just going to lose it all in the end?

Everything has a season, everything has a reason. Where there is heaven, there is hell. Where there is happiness, there is sorrow. If there were no today, there would be no tomorrow. You can't have one without the other. It is a balancing act. What one does with the life they have is totally up to him or her. We were born to die. While you are here, live life to the fullest even when you are scared. I think the saddest thing about living is becoming older and on your death bed you say, "I should have, I would have, I could have, but I didn't."

That is the point of living so at the end of your life, you can look back on it all and said, "I did".

Because we're alive right now. Live each day to the fullest. It's cliche but true. If you die tomorrow, you die. But at least you were happy today. You were in someone's life today. Don't worry about death. It's natural.

You should listen to the song by Leon Russell, (also recorded by David Clayton Thomas) under the same title. It may just contain the answers you're looking for.

Because each moment is golden and has value. Yesterday is over, tomorrow may not exist and today is all we have...its a gift and that's why they call it "the present".

When a person is depressed, its difficult to understand the one day at a time concept. If one day at a time is hard for you to understand and be grateful for, get come counseling for depression because you are missing all that today has to offer. Life is too short to waste being depressed and unhappy!!

It's like saying, why eat when we have to poop it anyway? Is that it?

It's the irony of life, I think.. We have no choice, let's just live it with and if the time comes, die to it. As for now, I enjoy living cause not everyone is given the chance to explore the wonders of the world!

You're lucky to be given the chance!

who said that there is no life after death?!

Shakespear had written - "earth is a big stage and people living on it are actors. they will go from the stage when their role is finished"

It's just a mental outlook on it all. The answer is uncertainty beyond life on earth. We are living to die because it is the natural course of life. We are all dying to live because of the uncertainty. Best live out what you know and that is experiencing earthly things while you can.

No matter your beliefs. There is uncertainty beyond life. If you are a Christian, you know that you have an afterlife and that God is waiting for you to come home. But still while you welcome this idea, there is that uncertainty of what God will be like and what Heaven will be like, because they are mysterious, meant to be mysterious, and they are both beyond our fathom of understanding. Carpe Diem. That's all you can say. Live every day as if it were on purpose. You were blessed with life...live it.

if you don't want to finish it now
