I agree that its true.

But it really depends, because at the end of the day, it has to be mutual.

Sometimes, that person many not want us no matter how much we think about them...

In that case, keeping them there will only hurt our self perpetually.

Its a beautiful quote, but it sounds rather 'stalkish'.

I agree to a certain degree, and the quote is quite straight forward.

interesting.

I don't agree with it. It depends on why they are always on your mind.

wow i love this quote...It brings back sad feelings though...thankyou now i feel like crap. :(

i think that the last line should be modified a little bit and should be like this: " it's only the heart that knows too well what the brain tries so hard to deny..". That's coz in mah opinion the heart can never be wrong!!

I agree. It is always true that even when our mind says no we still tend to believe our heart. It is all because of love love and love.

I prefer to 'let go' anything and everything from my mind rather than 'hold on' to it. Letting go provides relief and freedom on both sides.

Someone can still come to mind, many years even after letting them go.

And the brain part .. or mind as I call it .. I find the mind to be a hinderance most of the time. I much prefer to listen to my heart.

In fact, you would be better to say it the other way around i.e. "the heart knows so well what the mind denies"

i follow a more simple philosophy.

if it feels good, it is good.

if it feels bad, it is bad.

if thinking about someone has a negative connotation, no need to hold on to them.

The reason they are always on your mind is because you just came out of a relationship with them and now you are on your own. Contrary to what some would have you believe you don't just forget about the person or the time you spend with them.

Breaking up really is hard to do but, you can survive it and life does go one.

Like one my ex's told me " You will begin to enjoy your life".

I have had a wonderful life since we went our separate ways.

It took some time but, I did learn how to life again without him.

I like it although I think it should read that "...it's the heart that knows too well what the brain tries so hard to deny..."

many folks live through their intellect and deny their emotions -they're incapable of rendering themselves vulnerable - which is necessary for an intimate relationship. Instead, they keep it superficial which is destined to be short-lived.

Long story short - if you think that often about them, there's probably a good reason why they're always on your mind. This would be a good time to follow your heart and not your brain.
