Philosophically speaking.

The obvious can be obvious but we can be inattentive, distracted, obtuse, oblivious, ignorant of, or too dumb to understand it, then relatively speaking, to us it is obscure. If the obvious were a snake, it would have bitten us. For example, this morning after taking a shower, I deliberately and obviously left the door to an overhead storage cabinet in my bathroom open until the steam cleared. However, inattentive and forgetful, I bent over to get something, raised up and banged the hell out of my head on the moments previously obscure door. The obvious snake that was momentarily obscure to me and to which I was oblivious bit.

Inner truths can be obvious yet obscure. Unless we open our inner eyes and ears and use our inner vision, we remain oblivious to them even though they are there to enlighten and give us joy and freedom.

Obviously you can see the obvious. Philosophically speaking.

It depends on the frame of mind of the viewer. If the obvious was indeed obvious, it would not have to be stated.

the obvious is just a view. how it appears depends on where you're standing.

If the obvious was a snake, I would of been gone by then, obviously. But if obscure was a snake, I probably would been bitten since I would of stuck longer because I wasn't so sure.

yep, we be bit due to only dealing with the subjective microcosm around us, to modify a well known metaphor we would not be able to see the snake for the scales, too busy looking after number one to see the whole picture.

obscured in plain sight.

It's still obvious, not obscured, but IGNORED because our senses are automatically "tuned" to things that are unusual or things that we are looking for. These are called "bottom up" and "top down" attentional tunings.
So we always notice snakes. But we do not notice the air that we walk through, unless it's a 40 mph wind that almost pushes us down. Alone somewhere at night, I'd notice a stray dog if I were taking a walk. But driving down the same street during the day, there might be 20 dogs out on walks, and I don't notice them at all.

Existence exists; water is water; oxygen is breathable by humans. These are obvious.

The obvious is obvious because to be otherwise would contradict the very word you question; it cannot be both negative and positive at the same time.
