Question:If a chimpanzee was born, but it had the intelligence of a person, what would be its fate?

Imagine this furry monkey eating bananas on a park bench. Now imagine him putting down his banana and picking up The Wall Street Journal. How do you think he'd fare on the stock market? Does he watch CNBC? Maybe he trades in bananas.

Imagine he speaks flawless english and enjoys a good round of golf. Would he be accepted by society?

If this chimpanzee started a relationship with a human woman, would it still be considered bestiality? And what would become of their children?

Your thoughts on this matter are greatly appreciated.

The chimp would be a star with the long arms and raw body strength. He'd be a hit treated like a star!

That's all just plain weird... I have not and choose not to think about such things. Its all weird, but eh..

We have those already. I used to work with some of them. They really go for those bananas but they swing around the break room too much and sometimes they are hard to understand. Also, they don't often follow instructions too well.

Is this your husband or boyfriend we're talking about? or maybe little brother? I say if you love him go for it, even if he is really hairy, likes bananas and reads the Wall Street Journal. No one is perfect. As for society, times are changing, for better or worse. Best of luck with your relationship, but next time post under Family/ relationships and not Philosophy.

there was a similar chimp like sapen and its name was coco.
