If God made me extremely wealthy?

Question:Would it be wrong for me to buy a lot of things? I would DEFINITELY share my money. I would donate to charity, I also have this idea where I'd go to homes that have been burned down by household fires and then just drop $20,000 in the mail box.

See? I wouldn't be greedy with my money, BUT, i like toys, and i want to have a basketball court in my house (and a pool, and i want a motorcycle too, also a nice car, and have a wardrobe with my fav tshirts).

God said to not store up earthly treasures, but if i get the money why can't i use it to have fun too?

(O yea, i also want a shoe collection, AND a nice sound system so i can play guitar really loud.)

buy everything that you really need most. you may put them in charity if you're already through with those things. it's not bad to think of yourself first sometimes but be sure to won't get any worse. the rest of the money could be donated. don't you know it's a fun thing also? specially when you see the smiling faces you may feel satisfied of not having anything else but their happiness.

god isn't real so it doesn't matter. :)

It is how you use your money. If you spend so much time on money and so little time or no time on God, then it is not right. It is not sinful to be filthy rich but if you cannot use the money the way God wants you to, then it is wrong.

God will look at your heart and your motives behind all your 'sharing'. He would know if you really wanting to share or trying to 'balance' out your selfish motives. Other than that... I don't see why it would be wrong. :-)

yes but the question should be not if you have a large unbelievable amount dropped in your lap but what if you had just enough to buy your bball court, a pool,nice car, a motorcyle, shoe collection and nice sound system and only enough to get those things, would you not get one or more of those things in order to donate to charity or leave 20g to a burned down home victim??
