soul mate - I plan on retiring one day!
soul mate... can't enjoy my dream job w/o my soul mate by my side.
I would have to say...dream job. It could get me a person much better than the 'soul mate' (i knws its a bad thing to say but its tru!) Say if I was a lawyer I could gt a guy that has a good profession & looks yum, like a pilot. The dream job could get me a dream life with a dream guy and then I could get all those things I want like loads of yummy food, latest car, latest phone, and then the most important would be a huge room for my clothes and shoes...

Life IS what you make it, even with your job. I've been plugging away at my "ideal" job for 20 years now. Alone for 3 -
So I would take the soul mate, for the REST of my life.
Rather have a dream job because I could only get to that with someone special behind me. "Behind every great men theres a great women"

Who is to say one can not have both, there are many who do,
But a dream job would not be as rewarding if one did not have some one to share the joy of it, so the mate to me would be more important fore most.
Considering I already have my dream job but no wife. I'll have to go with Soul Mate.
There is no absolute need to have a 'dream job' but to possess higher dreams. 'Soul mates' is just an illusion of an impossibility.
I already have my dream job. I haven't found my soul mate yet and I don't know if I ever will. I would like to find someone to love and understand me, though, and be lucky to have him in my life.
Soul mate. Lots of people are like that. They hate their jobs but its worth it at the end of the day when they come home to their loved one. They make you forget about work and your idiot boss. They give you the strength and determination to get out the door and face the same nonsense day after day.
I'd pick a dream job. Money, and a dream job are harder to get then love

The term soul mate is an unrealistic ideal, in my opinion. It carries absolutism and idealism that people are more comfortable looking in the 'soul mate' discussion only the romantic side.
So, to 'have my dream job' is my answer to your question.
