Yes you can just because you don't believe in it doesnt mean you cant write about it I mean whats the worst that can happen you look at the situation from a different view point?

Were you ever the robber in cops and robbers when you clearly wanted to be a cop? Do the same thing, just play the part. Find all of the evidence supporting the statement and jot it down into a persuasive paragraph. Although it would help to know what exactly your doing (what type of essay, paragraph, ect.) and for what class. Believe it or not, theres a big difference between a socials paragraph and an english one, and what your teacher expects of you differs for each one.

If possible try to write it with an unbiased view point state the facts that everyone agrees with then the main view points and would be facts of each view point if they were true try your best to elaborate equally on all sides of the subject so the reader has a harder time discerning your own bias
this is harder then it sounds for most people how ever if done right it will make a great paper and allow for people to develop and defend their own opinions and ideas.

If you do enough research and find some articles with biased opinions opposite to your own you should do just fine.
simply try to make a persuasive argument using some of the same evidence used in other articles (Be sure to site all your sources)

That is exactly what every journalist is supposed to be able to do.

They should be able to present both sides of any subject unless they work for Fox News.

In which case there is only the corporation's version.

You don't have to agree with something to be able to describe it objectively. Think of a journalist's job. They describe war and murder and all kinds of nasty things, but they don't have to agree with it.

Do what journalists do: just describe the Who What When Where Why (the "W5") of the situation. But do it better than many journalists; do it objectively, don't interject your own prejudices.

Example:
I want to vote for my kid brother because he would make a better President than any one running in the presidential campaign. (first get the attention of audience with strong statement).
Write three intelligent reasons why you feel so strongly about the issue.
Ending is something like a slow down that will ease the audience and make them realize how right you are and will make them be able to change their views.
Your question sounded like a homework assignment. Forgive me if this answer is not what you meant.
