It's kind of pointless in a way to put forth your effort and stress of emotions into something that you should not have to worry about. Death is an inevitability, while you can wonder and worry about it all you want, nothing is going to change that. It is something we are all going to meet no matter what someday. You're not alone with this issue. Many people everyday wonder about the same thing. Is there life after death? What makes me feel more at ease with the issue is that death is something we all have to deal with. We may not have to accept it in our minds, but one day it is going to happen.

So to your question. ..What happens after you die? No one really knows, so no one will be able to comfort you with a leginament answer. You will have to conclude for yourself that no matter how much of your energy you waste thinking about it, it's not going to change anything.

Of course, people do have theories about what happens after death. Energy never ceases. Once it is created, you don't just "dissapear" after you die. As long as there is energy and it is created, it must strive in one place or another.

If there is one theory that should be dismissed, is the "everything turns black and says the end". First of all, like I said, nothing ever ceases once it's created. The whole "everything turns black" is a bad concept as well. I'm sure you mean black as in nothingness however. Nothingness is completely absolutely nothing. Not black, not white, not conscious feeling, nothing. We as humans are not able to grasp the concept of nothingness as we have never experienced such a thing. It's like thinking up a new color. Try it. ..It's not possible =P. ...The closest thing that you could relate it to is the concept of what was before you were born. Before that energy was created. That was complete nothingness.

..So pretty much..people can have theories..tons of theories. It's good to have a religion to confide in. Personally, I am Catholic, so I believe that there is a heaven and a hell. ...The Bible states things in metaphoric terms, so things can definitely be taken in different perspectives. Whichever one comforts you most, I recommend you choosing.

Eternity is slightly a very strange concept. One in which is also very difficult for people to grasp. It's also not the most comforting thing in the world. Imagine:
.........................................
Each one of those little dots above ^ represent 10 million years. ..I could keep going on forever with that as well. ..Weird. ...So weird that I like to block that part of thought from my conscious.

ANYWAYS. ...Haha, what I'm trying to get at is to just enjoy life for every waking moment. Don't spend you're time worrying about something in the future that is inevitable that is ruining the moment in your time right now when you're thinking about it. No one can give you a comprehension on the meaning of life or anything else. That is something you will personally have to conclude.

I'm am very intrigued by your curiosity. Never loss such a valuable thing, but don't let it consume you're life either.

Enjoy everything for what it is and be happy. ^^

C.
But, isn't that the most glorious end of all?
coal is just coal unless you burn it up.
Life wouldn't be so beautiful unless it burned away to nothing, immortality would be my idea of hell.

d. none of the above

It seems to be a matter of personal opinion more than a situation of absolute fact.

There is a lot of controversy about near death experiences, but reading more about them may be interesting to you. What I found interesting about them is that peoples' experiences match their thoughts or expectations of what happens after death.

It would depend on your faith and religious beliefs or non-beliefs.

Ok well firstly you need to stop being bothered by it or ur life will pass by nd u will regret it. so to put u at ease. When u die u will be transported 1st class to an ''island like'' place with a huge bar and it says ''happy hour 24/7'' the only thing is that the drink doesnt make u drunk but brings to life everything u wanted to do or say to people in ur life. Gives you the chance to apologise to someone or ask the sexy girl u never had the courage to ask.

Death is what makes life worthwhile...enjoy every day..love laugh cry ....I watched both my parents die..I was at their bedside when both went...It was peaceful for them. For me left however it was the worst pain of my life.

option D. is the one where you are not even aware that you once existed , it implys that it is of no matter how you die as there will be nothing to contemplate it.

I exist. Let's say I exist forever. There is eternal meaning in this, so long as I believe that such is my condition. To be doubtless, is to have meaning. If we can say, without doubt, that we exist forever, then we can have meaning, and we can have peace. But we can not say this without doubt. So we are troubled and confused. If you choose not to let it bother you, you will be happy. You simply need to be ignorant of the doubt. Just be, that's all I can say. Hope this helps.

How do you expect anyone to actually know the answer.

I have to answer your question with a question.. Do you know who JESUS CHRIST is? If not, let me introduce you to Him. Jesus Christ is the Son of the most high God who came down to earth to pay for a debt that neither you or me could ever repay- our sins.
He died for my sin and your sin at the Cross of Calvary so that the devil cannot bring down to hell with him you, me or any other human being. You see, hell is the designed by the Almighty God to punish devil who is the chief sinner, and is continually leading many people to live wasted lives. The devil have used the good intentions and inventions of other people [helpful medications, gadgets which are supposed to make life a little convenient..etc, ] to deprave the minds of other human beings by obnoxious images and devastate lives of many by misuse of drugs. The devil wants to influence the actions of the humans so that he will not be lonely in hell, that's why humanity needs a Saviour which we find only in JESUS CHRIST and through JESUS CHRIST.

In answer to your question, C: If everything just turns black, then when we all die, we died and that's it. B: Reincarnate - i agree with you. A: Live for eternity - that's spot on, but doing what has 2 answers: 1: live with devil and suffer with him in hell for eternity or 2: Accept JESUS CHRIST as your personal Lord and Saviour, by a simple prayer from your heart, i will not even attempt to do up one for you because Salvation is intimate and personal. Most of all God listens when you pray from the heart. After you have done so, read your Bible (if you don't have one follow the link http://www.gideons.org.uk/Contact/index.... - they will certainly send you one if you request for it.)
from the Books of the new testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke, John to start with. Then find a Bible believing group who can help you with your study. If there is none in your community, let me know.

I hope that this answer will help you establish your personal relationship with Jesus as He is the only one who can calm your soul and give you the assurance of eternal life

God bless all those who read this answer with life everlasting through Jesus Christ, the one and only Saviour who loves mankind even in its fallen state.

a. live for eternity. Worshiping by living for the God I serve in this existence now.

You want absolute proof of life? You know what. Consider this. Most people have no absolute proof of everything they do in life. Most sciences and philosophies and religions have no absolute proof of their teachings and doctrines. Man lives in a world where proof must not be that necessary to function ably and competently in life. That is the big reason why walking in faith is more natural to the human experience.

if you beleave onto god then a). but if not, then the answer would be c)

There's no need to be bothered by it. Once we are brain dead, there is nothing left of our personality or our identity. We can feel neither pleasure or pain. We won't even be aware that we are dead.

There is nothing to fear about being dead. Suffering a lot before dying because of a painful illness, let's say, is another matter. That is why I believe in euthanasia for people in this position.
