URGENT: How do you spell this guy's name?!?

Question:Because of google de-sensitizing its "Did you mean" scope, I'm clueless as to the spelling of this guy's name, and I have a project on him due tomorrow (yes tsk tsk to me)

Anyway, he was a philosopher or a mathematition or something, and his name was e-nee-chee (phonetically spelt, one e is short and two are long) I tried the popular clothing brand Enyce's spelling, but no dice.

So please, can anyone with the right spelling help?

The one that came to my mind is the German philophoser named Friedrich Nietzsche.

He was not a mathematician. His last name is pronounced "neetch".
